It's recital time!
I am giving a solo recital on January 14, 2023, at 3 PM at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. The recital hall is in the Bolthouse Center for Music in the Dixon Ministry Center. Pieces by Paul Ben-Haim, Dmitri Shostakovich, Matthew Peter Walton, Mark Lehman, Kaikhosru Sorabji, and Evgeny Golubev are on the program. The recital is free and open to the public.
Directions from the south, east, and west: come into Cedarville and head north on State Route 72 at the center of town, which is also North Main St. Turn left into the main entrance on University Boulevard, almost directly across from the Shell gas station. You'll drive down a divided boulevard; go straight through the stop sign, and after a few hundred feet you'll go over a raised pedestrian crossing.
Park anywhere past that crossing, then walk back over it with the construction site on your right. Just past the construction, in between some handicap parking, there's a short sidewalk that slopes down to the building entrance; go in there. Walk to the end of the hallway, take a left, and then take a right when you pass the student lounge. That last hallway empties out into the lobby outside the recital hall. If you get lost, ask anybody where the Dixon statue is; Dr. Dixon, in bronze, sits on a bench just next to the hall entrance.
Handicap parking: follow the above directions, except don't cross over the pedestrian crossing. There are a few handicap spots right there at the entrance.
